MARILYN (LYN) DAVIDSON
Professor Marilyn J. Davidson, BA (Hons), PGCert.Ed., MA, PhD, C.Psychol, FBPsS, FRS, Manchester School of Management, University of Manchester Institute of Science and Technology, PO Box 88, Manchester, M60 1QD, UK. Marilyn J. Davidson is Professor of Managerial Psychology in the Manchester School of Management at the University of Manchester Institute of Science and Technology, UK. She is currently Head of the Psychology Group and Co-Director of the Centre For Business Psychology. Her research and teaching interests are in the fields of occupational stress, the management of diversity, equal opportunities, women in management and female entrepreneurs. She has published over 150 academic articles and fourteen books, e.g. ‘Shattering the Glass Ceiling - The Woman Manager’ (with C.L. Cooper); Women In Management: Current Research Issues Volume II’ (edited with R. Burke); and ‘The Black and Ethnic Minority Woman Manager - Cracking the Concrete Ceiling’ (short listed for the Best Management Book of the Year). Marilyn is former Editor of the MCB University Press Journal Women in Management Review; Associate Editorial Board Member of the Journal of Occupational and Organizational Psychology, the Journal of Gender Work and Organization, and the International Review of Women and Leadership. She is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts; a Fellow of the British Psychological Society; a Chartered Psychologist; a member of the Division of Occupational Psychology (BPS); and a member of the Division of Psychology of Women Section (BPS). |
